My life in the skin care profession has spanned 3 decades. Having been a trainer and examiner Internationally my qualifications and experience give me a great background. Now semi retired from training, I offer my services to the Cobham and environs on a part time basis.

WHAT IS ADVANCED AESTHETICS

Compare it with a GP to a Specialist. I am a skin care therapist/electrologist with specialist skills and training.

There are two completely different sides to advanced cosmetic procedures. Both are about improvements to your youthfulness and looks.

THE FIRST SIDE (my passion) ELECTROLYSIS - ELECTRO CAUTERY

You will know the term electrolysis as a hair removal treatment. It is and still classified as the only permanent method by the FDA.  I limit the treatment to very light or white hairs and those of a terminal nature on the face or breasts of females. No other treatment has any outcome on this type of hair.

In the last decade electrolysis technology has expanded vastly to encompass a whole host of other procedures these include small benign lesion removal that comes with age, genetics and race.  Things like age spots, skin tags, fatty deposits around the eye, small cysts, warts and spider angioma etc. They are easily and cost effectively removed safely with Electrolysis. Look at my treatment menu for more than 20 cosmetic lesions that can be expertly removed.

THE SECOND SIDE OF ADVANCED AESTHETICS

Botox and fillers fall under this medical side of advanced aesthetics they are fantastic if applied correctly. However they have no influence on the look or condition of your skin. You keep your body healthy with exercise and diet so what about your skin. Skin needs constant attention to make it glow, strong, tight, youthful and more beautiful.

I am primarily a facialist some of my treatments can be adapted for the body where stretch marks, scars, hair growth and small defects are concerned. I can design a treatment program especially for your skin and your budget. 

The treatments I give can be natural alternatives or can enhance Botox and fillers they are also delivered by needles to the skin for better clarity and more youthful looks. Everything looks better when all elements are met. They all help promote collagen induction and deliver nutrients to the deeper layers of skin.

These are

  • Subcision Needling - deep lines.

  • Micro Needling - finer lines - pigmentation - scaring - product deliverance.

  • Meso Therapy - deep introduction of nutrients.

I sometimes combine these treatments for best results.
