ADVANCED COSMETIC PROCEDURES                                            

THE TREATMENT

Using Sterex electrical epilation equipment with a different style of probes this procedure is to get rid of those annoying skin blemishes that happen with changes in the skin from ageing, skin damage, post pregnancy, poor lifestyle, hormones and genetics.

All of these can take one to several treatments depending on the size and how many of them you have.

I treat more than 20 benign skin lesions.

These include

Broken red veins - face and (occasionally legs depending on condition of the main leg veins).

Spider Nevi - small spider like group of vessels that appear on the face and chest area.

Milia - more commonly known as whiteheads.

Skin tags - tear drop lesion that appear on areas of friction (necklace, bra strap areas).

Seborrhoeic Keratosis - a dark crusty flat wart that can be very large often on the trunk of the body. Usually an age condition.

Common warts - hard crusty wart usually on hands.

Plane warts - small wart usually on face.

Planter wart verruca - found on sole of foot.

Deratosis Papulosa Nigra - slightly raised or teardrop multi lesion found on darker skins only. Usually on cheek area.

Moles - only certain types of raised moles can be treated if treatable I can reduce and flatten (not remove). You may need your doctors permission for this.

Sebaceous cysts - small cysts only. If they are very large they will need to be surgically removed.

Sebaceous hyperplasia - raised lumps on the face that accompanies oily skin.

Age spots - as suggested these come with sun damage and age.

Xanthelasma - rectangular yellow lumps that are only found around the eyes usually from high cholesterol.

Syringoma - lumpy lesions around the eye especially the lower eyelid. Found in older people caused from sweat duct problems.

Molluscum contagiosum - donut like shapes these are of the wart family and are highly contagious and spread easily.

THE PROCEDURE

Small sterile probe attached to an electrolysis machine, I cauterise with thermolysis or blend method to remove these small lesions.

  • Benign skin cosmetic lesions.

 DOWN TIME

  • None.

  • Slight reddening will form small crusts can take 1 to 2 weeks to heal.

DOES IT HURT

  • A slight sting will be felt. Most people can tolerate this.

  • One to several treatments depending on how much work and how many lesions to be removed.
