SUBSCISION NEEDLING deep wrinkles and scars (Bio Skin Jetting)

ABOUT

This method of needling called subcision has been used by dermatologists for several years. A needle is inserted horizontally along the wrinkle or scar area to be treated, this promotes the formation of collagen it breaks down the fibrotic strands which tether the scar or wrinkle to the underlying tissue. There is no substance injected it’s the skill of the operator. I helped Sterex put this treatment into the market place and have trained many in this skill.

THE PROCEDURE

After cleansing of the skin I apply topical anaesthesia for 15 minutes after this using a gold disposable plate I treat the skin with radio frequency current that makes the skin more receptive and is regenerative to small lines and wrinkles. I then apply various size needles to the large wrinkles performing various techniques. The treatment is performed on areas such as eyes and around the mouth. Multiple areas can be treated.

INDICATED FOR

  • Deep wrinkles and expression lines. Particularly the nasal labial folds.

  • Scars post acne (excellent).

  • Scars other (NOT raised hypertrophic or keloid).

DOWNTIME

  • Redness will be in the areas of treatment, this will last between 3 and 5 days. You can wear corrective make up easily for the first few days.

DOES IT HURT

  • Topical anaesthetic used prior to treatment to minimise the discomfort.

REQUIRES

  • 6 x treatments every 2 weeks plus 3 monthly maintenance.

AFTERCARE

  • Healing and antiseptic.
